I am a half-Native American woman living in the United States with my husband, and immediate family closeby.  I am (obviously) Roman Catholic, and have been for most of my adult life, having converted when I was 22 years old. (I am now in my mid-40s).  I enjoy pretty much everything about the Church, including the different charisms and the different Orders in the Church, the different prayers and prayer practices and devotions, Adoration, Mass, and the Sacraments, of course.  I enjoy daily Mass (although not often enough), and I daily pray the Liturgy of the Hours, and recently, the daily prayer of the Rosary.  I love all devotions to Our Lady, and I also love the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  (One day I would like to enthrone an image of His Sacred Heart in my home).  I have recently joined the Marian Catechist Apostolate as a Contemplative Member in Formation, and find their Catechist Course fun and challenging. I have special devotions to the following Saints:  St. Kateri Tekakwitha (who is my Confirmation Saint), St. Teresa of Avila, Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi, St. John Paul II (the Great), St. Benedict of Nursia, St. Alphonsus Ligouri, and some lesser such as Mother Teresa of Calcutta, St. Dominic, St. Catherine of Siena, and St. Padre Pio.  I just love the whole Communion of Saints!  The first Catholic prayer I taught myself was the Hail, Holy Queen, and it remains my favorite prayer to this day.  But I love so many different prayers of our Faith!  And although I disagree with some of our current Pope’s stance on issues, I still support him as our Holy Father, and Pope Benedict XVI as Pope Emeritus. I have studied other religions, some in depth, but haven’t found anything I like as much as the Catholic Religion.  In this Faith, I live, and in this Faith, I die.  Oh, St. Joseph, Most Chase Spouse of the Virgin Mary, I pray for a happy death!  May I live and die in Jesus, His Mother, and in the Church. Amen.
